Piece of Choice
The Executive Committee will decide on the piece to be conducted by a contestant from among the three pieces of choice submitted by the contestant at the time of application, and notify their decision after the second preliminary round to contestants who qualify for the final round.
■ORGANIZING BODY
The Tokyo International Music Competition for Conducting, which has been renamed in 1988 from Min-On Competition that started in 1967, has been organized and promoted by Min-On Concert Association (hereinafter referred to as Min-On). The year 2018 marks the 18th Conducting Competition.

■ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
The organization structure comprises of an Organizing Committee, an Executive Committee, a Panel of Judges, and the Competition Office. The Panel of Judges is proposed by the Executive Committee and formed with the approval of Min-On. The Competition Office has been set up within the Min-On Culture Center in Tokyo.
